Job Opportunity:
Partner with a leading mechanical engineering company to fill this technical sales position.
This role involves working remotely with frequent travel required, covering Ireland and Scotland.
You will receive extensive training in the UK for 3-6 months and further training in Germany for 4-6 weeks.
The salary is £50,000, plus fixed guaranteed commission for 2 years (£7,500 minimum) + company vehicle + uncapped commission on top.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Win new customers within targeted markets (Power Generation, Defence, Commercial Vehicles, Hydropower, Diesel & Gas Engines, Cranes, Construction Machines).
2. Nurture existing client relationships and develop new opportunities.
3. Be present in the market and identify customer needs now and for the future.
4. Provide bolting solution support at relevant customer sites.
5. Work with the sales manager to develop a sales territory plan.
Required Skills:
A proven record of success (4-10 years of experience) in industrial sales (preferably OEM products).
Education in mechanical engineering (ideally HND or degree level).
Excellent communication and customer development skills.
Structured and organised working methods.
Ability to work from home and regularly visit customer sites.
Quick relationship establishment with new people.
Capability to learn and retain technical knowledge as required for the role.
Research and pipeline development skills.
Willingness to learn and develop.
