The firm are also big advocates for continuous development and the role offers a fully study support package towards achieving your accounting professional qualifications.What role will offer you:Work closely with the firm's DirectorCollaborate directly with business owners on client projects.Exciting client portfolio – from cutting-edge technology start-ups and scale-ups to internationally focused e-commerce brands and substantial real estate development groups.Diverse, strategic projects – engage in tax incentive and corporate finance projects that truly influence client success.A great working environment – supportive culture and opportunities to shape internal and client related processes.Impact beyond compliance – leverage technology to deliver smarter solutions and drive transformation for clients and the firm.Core Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for the following:Direct responsibility for a portfolio of clients across various sectors.Build and maintain strong ongoing client relationships.Review work prepared by accounts assistants including bookkeeping, payroll and VAT returns.Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements in accordance withOversee tax compliance for clients, including personal and corporate tax returns.Prepare financial projections and other ad hoc reports for clients.Ensure timely and accurate reporting for all client deliverables.Required Skills and Experience:Part Qualified with ACCA or ACA .Minimum of 2 years' experience in a small to medium sized accounting practice.Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards.Strong tax knowledge and experience including VAT, RCT, Corporation Tax and Income Tax.Strong knowledge of the payroll process.Embraces technology with strong knowledge of accounting software.Xero experience will be an advantage.Strong IT, MS Excel and Word skills.Required Soft Skills and Personality Profile:Ability to work within a dynamic team environment.Self-motivated with the ability to take ownership of the role.Excellent communication and client management skills.Excellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skills.Strong attention to detail.Apply in total confidence today.Horizon Blue Talent Consulting is a Talent Acquisition Consulting business operating on behalf of a client in relation to this vacancy.
