We are now inviting applications to the role ofCorporate Communications Managerto join Musgrave Communications team, reporting to the Head of Communications, Retail.
The purpose of this position is to grow and protect Musgraves reputation and inspire confidence in our brands.
The Corporate Communicatons Manager will be responsible for developingcommunications on owned and earned media for Musgrave so that our business strategy, our approach to sustainability and our brands are understood and valued by external stakeholders.
They will demonstrate our scale and leadership as a world class food and beverage company and digitalise our communications where possible.
The responsibilities of the role are as follows (but not limited to); Corporate Communication Develop External Corporate Communications plans for Musgrave and retail brands on strategic areas such aseconomic impact, sustainability, vibrant communities.
Promote, protect and build awareness of Musgrave and our brand priorities to ensure they are understood and valued by external stakeholders Ensure that brand reputation priorities ladder up to Musgrave and vice versa Issue Management work with cross functional teams to align on Musgrave position, define response approach and response to mitigate issues efficiently and effectively Proactive Campaigns develop corporate campaigns that build our reputation and give us standout Tidy Towns; Food Academy; Store Openings etc Seek out opportunities that build the Musgrave and its brands leadership position Promote key Business, people and retail awards Manage day to day relationship with our corporate communications agency Media Relations Manage key media and business contacts in Ireland including local, national and international media Manage day to day media queries Develop strong external stakeholder relationships and manage day to day corporate media queries Work with Retailers on planned profiles in media and ensure communication protocols are followed, review coverage and follow up where required.
Social Platforms Build and execute social media strategy for Musgrave Manage social media interactions between Musgrave and the public Implement social media content strategy Analyse and advise on new opportunities to increase Musgraves social media presence Analyse engagement data, identifying trends in interactions and planning digital campaigns to build community online Digitalise the role where possible The successful candidates will possess the following: 5 years+ experience in a communications/PR role.
Experience in managing social media platforms Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong influencing, facilitation and collaboration skills.
Proven track record in managing projects to a successful conclusion.
Strong presentation and organisation skills.
Track record of achievingresults and meetingdeadlines in a fast paced environment Ability to work well as part of team A third level qualification in either Marketing or Public Relations or relevant experience Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
