Our client, a leading Irish provider of accountancy and advisory services is seeking aQualified Accountant to join their expanding Cork team within a Top 20 Practice. The successful Qualified Accountant will become part of a collaborative, high-performing team committed to professional excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and complete client files and financial statements from start to finish to a high professional standard, ensuring delivery within budget and deadlines. Manage accounts preparation and income tax returns for individuals, sole traders, and company directors. Draft financial reports and present engagement results to the engagement manager. Identify and resolve areas of non-compliance with accounting standards. Contribute to statutory accounting, compliance, and related services across a diverse client base. Requirements: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 1 year post-qualification experienceideal for a Recently Qualified Accountant seeking growth. Background in practice with a desire to broaden skills and take on new challenges. Smallmedium practice experience is essential. Experience working with audit-exempt clients. Strong business acumen and the ability to act as an effective advisor to clients. Proven experience preparing Irish income tax and related returns.
