Senior Scala Developer - Daily Rate Contractor - Roles x2
Our client is looking for experienced Back End engineer's with professional experience authoring in Scala to join their expanding team. The successful candidates will enhance the existing team to deliver new customer-facing features and enhance the security and resiliency of our SaaS product.
You will join the existing team and collaborate on delivering feature, security, scalability and resiliency enhancements to our existing Scala code base. You will contribute to the design of new features. You will work cross-functionally with other internal Engineering teams to support the exciting enhancements coming to the product suite.
? Skills Required:
1. Extremely strong JVM-based development and deployment experience.
2. Strong knowledge of, and professional development experience with, the Scala programming language.
3. Experience building SaaS products, particularly in the AWS cloud.
4. Knowledge of event-driven concepts and architectures.
5. Familiarity with continuous development and deployment practices.
6. Ability to drive project delivery from early ideation through to production deployment.
7. Commitment to software quality through clean code, testing and verification.
8. Open and transparent communicator as comfortable with in-person collaboration as with solo focus.
