This is an exciting opportunity for qualified motor vehicle technicians to work with a variety of vehicles, including ICE, EV, Passenger and LCV models.
Main responsibilities:
* Perform routine vehicle servicing and repairs
* Carry out diagnostic work and identify solutions
* Conduct thorough vehicle health checks and provide customers with detailed reports
* Use the Company's dealer management system (DMS) to manage workload and communicate with colleagues
* Plan and coordinate daily tasks with Service Reception and other team members
* Evaluate vehicle requirements and liaise with Parts department to source necessary components
* Communicate effectively with customers and Service Reception regarding job progress and any issues that may arise
* Prioritise quality and efficiency to meet customer needs
* Undertake regular road tests to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for return to customers
* Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
* Support the development of junior technicians through mentorship and coaching
* Achieve performance targets to receive bonus incentives
* Engage in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and stay up-to-date with industry advancements
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety protocols
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Substantial experience working with various vehicle types, preferably with well-established manufacturers
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and customers
* Highly organised and able to work independently or as part of a team to meet deadlines
* Proficient in using computer systems, including the Company's DMS
* A full driving licence and ability to travel between locations if required
