Auto Conversions Limited Trading as Wilker Auto Conversions (Wilker) is one of the leading vehicle converters in Ireland and the UK and is now growing to become an internationally recognized vehicle conversion specialist. It is headquartered in Clara Co. Offaly and also has a production facility in Sandbach, Cheshire UK.
Wilker builds specialises in supply vehicles for the Emergency Services in both the Civilian and Military sectors primarily as well as customised function specific vehicles for Commercial & Industrial requirements. Our extensive customer base extends throughout Ireland, England, Scotland & Wales, The Isle of Man and Jersey, with Exports to Cyprus, Trinidad & Tobago and Abu Dhabi.
Due to our continuous growth we are currently looking for a Stock Controller to join our team.
Job Title: Stock Controller
Within the Clara facility we now have a required to recruit an Stock controller to our Commercial and Procurement Team
Wilker manages stock across its 3 sites of in excess of 6000 individual items supplying critical components just in time to the 3 sites to support delivery of vehicles on time to the awarded tenders.
This role is critical in ensuring on time delivery of high quality components to our production lines and is an integral part of our Focused Supply/Operations team
The successful candidate will own the accuracy of all inventories on site and will be responsible for the maintenance and accuracy of our Stock Control systems stock configuration and accuracy ensuring
Skills required for the job:
* Full Irish driver's licence required.
* Strong IT skills and experience with MS Office suite particularly excel, teams, one note is required.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are essential.
* Experience of stock control, preferably in a manufacturing/automotive environment or working in a warehouse is essential (minimum of 1 year).

* Experience in implementing best practice stock control and process improvements will be an advantage.
* Knowledge of logistics, forecasting, and stock optimisation strategies would be an advantage.
* Batchelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, IT, Engineering or a related discipline or an equivalent qualification would be a distinct advantage.
* Forklift experience and qualification would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage stock control processes.
* Ensuring a greater than 97%+ accuracy of all Clara stock.
* Ensuring that all stock transaction are carried in line with the company Stock Control procedures.
* Maintaining the company's stock control procedures and ensuring that all personnel are trained and follow these procedures.
* Become the site Expert/Champion in terms of Stock Control on the Stock Control System staying abreast of system updates and ensuring all relevant reports are available.
* Organise, manage and control the Cycle counting process on site as well as the period stock check processes ensuring that all discrepancies are fully investigated and corrective actions put in place in line with the adjustments been carried out.
* Developing and managing the Key metrics that are used to monitor and maintain stock accuracy on site providing reports and corrective action plans to the warehouse supervisor and Commercial Director to correct poor performance with a specific focus on stock turnover and supplier performance identifying trends and areas for improvement.
* Undertake any other Stock System improvement Projects as required.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships across the supply network, supplier to customers and field support teams.
