ICT Infrastructure Specialist Role
This senior-level technical role involves supporting, maintaining and enhancing the organization's ICT infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert-level support and troubleshooting for core ICT systems.
* Manage hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
* Lead on major application and system implementations as a technical authority.
* Configure new servers and environments to meet business requirements.
* Support cybersecurity tools and protocols to ensure secure operations.
* Collaborate with vendors to manage system integrations and service delivery.
* Ensure documentation and compliance with relevant ICT standards and policies.
* Assist in ICT project planning and delivery to drive business outcomes.
* Contribute to IT strategy and service improvement initiatives.
Essential Experience:
* In-depth knowledge of Cisco ASA firewalls is required.
* Experience leading major application installations is essential.
* Strong background in Microsoft Server infrastructure is necessary.
* Experience in ICT project management is vital.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity tools and processes is essential.
* Ability to work effectively with third-party service providers is required.
* Working knowledge of wireless infrastructure, SAN (Storage Area Network), and Fibre Channel is necessary.
Desirable Experience:
* Experience with VMware vCenter/vSphere in high-availability environments is advantageous.
* Familiarity with LAN networking devices and associated systems is beneficial.
* Experience with Veeam Enterprise Backup solutions is desirable.
* SAN network topology and management experience is valuable.
* Microsoft or Cisco certifications are highly regarded.
* Previous experience in a regulated sector is advantageous.
