Medical Equipment Supervisor
The role of a Medical Equipment Supervisor involves overseeing the operation of the Sterile Service Unit by managing and guiding staff to achieve optimal outcomes.
* Assess workflow processes and implement efficient systems to support instrument requirements.
* Produce sterilized medical devices for clinical areas and other designated sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise workflow procedures to ensure high-quality services.
* Direct supervision, guidance, and participation in work flows.
* Collaborate with theatre staff and CSSD team members to guarantee timely equipment processing.
* Ensure adherence to quality assurance and infection control standards.
Requirements:
* Hold a FETAC Level 6 award in Decontamination of RIMD or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in decontamination of RIMD.
* Proficiency in computer software and experience with fingerprint track and trace system.
