Job Title: AccountantLocation: Home-Based (with occasional UK travel)Salary: €62,000 per annumOur client, a leading player within intralogistics, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join their Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to take on a dynamic role supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial management and reporting.Key Responsibilities * Financial Oversight: Maintain and manage accurate financial records in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. * Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support business strategy. * Reporting: Produce timely and accurate financial statements including balance sheets, income, and cash flow reports. * Audit Support: Liaise with internal and external auditors to support audits and ensure compliance. * Tax & Compliance: Ensure tax planning and compliance across VAT, corporate tax, RCT, Intrastat, PAYE, and more. * Payroll Review: Conduct thorough checks of payroll files for accuracy and compliance. * Interdepartmental Collaboration: Partner with other teams to provide financial insights and guidance. * Customer Invoicing: Assist with the preparation and issue of customer invoices. * Purchase Invoices: Review monthly purchase invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.What We're Looking For * Qualifications: ACA or ACCA qualified. * Experience: Extensive background in accounting and finance, gained within the Irish market and across similar sectors.
