Overview
Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel is currently seeking to recruit a confident, outgoing and professional Fitness Instructor to join the team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will be passionate about health and wellbeing and dedicated to creating a positive, motivating atmosphere for clients of all fitness levels. Responsibilities
* Welcome and introduce new members to the gym, carrying out comprehensive inductions
* Design and deliver individualised training programmes tailored to members\' goals
* Provide one-on-one and group fitness consultations, including personal training sessions
* Ensure the Leisure Centre, including the gym, pool, and changing facilities, is clean, hygienic, and presentable at all times
* Lead and instruct fitness classes with energy and professionalism
* Supervise the gym floor, ensuring equipment is used safely and maintained to a high standard
* Deliver friendly, knowledgeable support to both members and hotel guests
* Assist with the daily operations of the Leisure Centre, including reception duties and administrative support where required
* Promote health, fitness, and overall well-being in a welcoming and supportive environment
Qualifications
* NCEF qualification or equivalent is essential
* Lifeguard Qualification is essential
* Experience in teaching group exercise classes
* Experience in writing fitness programmes
* Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
* Pool plant qualification would be an advantage
* Available to work evenings and weekends
* Have full permission or hold a valid visa to work in the EU
