Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.What You Will Be DoingAssist in the production, maintenance and development of our reporting to help drive insights across the business.Analysing and interpreting data to identify trends, risks & opportunities. The team well serve a key role in understanding the business mix across several components such as performance, profitability, sales, retention, quotability and more.Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources such as underwriting systems, claims databases, and external data feeds to ensure comprehensive analysisApply statistical techniques and predictive modelling to assess portfolio performance, identify risk patterns, and optimize pricing strategies.Collaborate with Department Management to continually improve and develop our analysis on key issues and risks across the businessDevelop scripts and workflows using programming languages such as SAS, Databricks, R, Power BI to automate reporting and analysis tasksWork closely with pricing, underwriting, actuarial and IT teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutionsProvide analytical support for key projects across the business providing insights and data-driven recommendations.Adapt to undertake additional duties and engage in designated projects, including cross-functional initiatives.Continuously improve reporting capabilities by exploring new tools, techniques, and best practices in data analytics and visualizationQualificationsProven experience in an analytical role with a track record of successful delivery.A completed degree in business or IT is essential.APA And CIP Qualifications Are Desirable.Understanding of relevant insurance business classes and related metrics is an advantage.Highly analytical and technically proficient professional with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.Experience using R, SAS, Power BI, Python, SQL or other programming languages/statistical software desirable.Eager to develop new reporting solutions that improve understanding of portfolio performance and support underwriting and pricing decisionsProven experience in an analytical role with a track record of successful delivery.Self-motivated with a strong sense of drive, enthusiasm, and commitment.Ability to thrive under pressure in a team-oriented environment.Highly effective planning and organizational skills, enabling you to meet objectives consistently.Flexible and adaptable in the face of new challenges.Excellent Written And Numerical Skills Are Required.Proficient in MS Word and Excel, with well-developed PC skills.As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorized to work in Ireland and/or the United Kingdom.This recruitment campaign will be used to support permanent, temporary and/or extension for any upcoming similar positions.To be considered for this role you will be redirected to and must complete the application process on our careers page.
