Our supervisors work as part of the production team overseeing the daily operations within our manufacturing facility.
This role ensures all activities align with the organisation's KPI's which include
Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)

People
,
Product Quality, Production Efficiency
and
Customer Delivery.
With the support of the Production Manager our Supervisors act as the first point of contact for team leads ensuring that the production area is operating in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to our company values.
The production team work together and lead in safety, quality, coordinating tasks, resolving issues, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Support the Team leads to ensure that all required safety checks are carried out on-time and promote safe work practices
Participate in safety audits, training and continuous improvement initiatives related to EHS
Ensure that the company required standards and reporting are adhered to
Lead, motivate, and support team members to achieve performance targets.
Deliver shift meetings and ensure effective communication across all areas.
Support the recruitment process when required
Ensure that the onboarding of new operatives is completed to the required standards
Perform in-process quality checks and coordinate with Quality for inspections and audits.
Manage the team leads to ensure that they are meeting or exceeding production targets (efficiency, yield, uptime).
Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions, support 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement projects on the line
Previous Supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is essential
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety standards, and quality control.
Effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficient in using production tracking systems, Microsoft Office, and basic reporting tools.
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
