Technical Program Product Manager
* 12 months contract
* Dublin 2 - Fully onsite, 5 days a week – no exceptions
* Salary: €68,000 – 73,000 per annum OR 375 per day max
In this role you will be responsible for developing and managing projects that affect new consumer-facing payments products. The projects require timely execution with the highest degrees of security, performance, availability, and reliability. You will act as a bridge between External Payment Services and all internal customers that rely on our infrastructure. Other responsibilities include defining requirements, planning delivery, designing web-sites and features.
You will provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Requirements:
* An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science (or related field) plus industry experience as a software developer or technical lead is required
* 3 years of project management experience.
* Knowledge in the payments or mobile payments space a plus
* A record of successful delivery of software products from conception through business case and customer deployment
* Demonstrable Data Centre and or Networking engineering operational experience.
* Proficiency with MS Office and MS Project or other related scheduling software.
* Ability to work the business side of projects to drive deployment of new products
* An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills
* Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done
* Should be familiar with Linux, Java, and HTML
* Good track record of working effectively with across different groups in the organization
* Project Management Professional certification is a huge bonus
* Experience in the management of complex technology infrastructure projects.
* Experience with and deep understanding of multiple project management methodologies.
* Familiarity with the AWS product suite.
