Commercial HVAC Design Engineer
We are working with a market-leading heating and renewables specialist seeking a
Commercial Design Engineer
to join their expanding Dublin office. This is an exciting opportunity to work on
large-scale commercial heating projects (250kW+)
, with a strong emphasis on
heat pump technology
and innovative energy solutions.
You will be responsible for designing, specifying, and quoting complex commercial systems, while providing technical support and guidance to clients and consultant engineers. This role offers the chance to make a real impact in the development of sustainable heating solutions across Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and quote
commercial heating systems, with a focus on larger heat pump solutions.
* Review
electrical and mechanical drawings
to ensure technical accuracy.
* Provide
technical back-up and guidance
to clients, consultants, and project teams.
* Collaborate with colleagues across engineering, sales, and projects to deliver tailored system solutions.
* Stay updated with industry trends, products, and innovations in renewable heating.
* Support the development of
energy-efficient, sustainable heating strategies
.
About You
* Engineering degree (preferable)
or equivalent technical qualification.
* Proven industry experience with
commercial heating systems (250kW+)
.
* Strong technical understanding of heating, HVAC, and/or renewable energy systems.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills
, with the confidence to liaise with clients and consultants.
* A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in
sustainable and innovative energy solutions

* Willingness to undertake
product training
and ongoing professional development.
