Overview
Location: Muiríosa Foundation Office - Moore Abbey, Monasterevin, Co.
Kildare or Axis Business Park, Tullamore, Co.
Offaly.
Tenure: One Year Fixed-Term Contract (70 hours per fortnight).
This position involves processing payroll from timesheets to completion and submission of the bank file within a busy payroll department.
The role also entails completing Pension Statements for the Single Public Service Pension Scheme in line with current legislation.

Responsibilities
Process payroll from timesheets to final pay file submission to the bank.
Complete Pension Statements for the Single Public Service Pension Scheme in line with current legislation.
Qualifications & Requirements
Successfully completed Irish Payroll Association qualification (IPASS) or relevant experience in a busy payroll department.
2 years' experience generating and calculating pay from timesheet to finalised pay file for payment.
Public Sector Payroll experience is an advantage.
Knowledge of the Core computer system is an advantage.
Experience/ability to calculate pay for employees requesting estimates of changes in working hours.
Experience of PAYE Modernisation is an advantage.
Experience of SPSPS pension scheme is desirable.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on your own initiative.
Excellent attention to detail and strong IT skills with computerised payroll packages.
Flexible and capable of managing competing priorities within workload.
Problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Willing to undertake education and training as required for the role.
May be required to travel between locations.
