An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Accounting department for a Financial Accounts Assistant to join us and be based at our Dublin site. Reporting to the EMEA Financial Accountant, our successful candidate will strengthen our Finance & Controlling team across EMEA and Freight Forwarding. The candidate will play a key role in supporting month end close and support of the audit for all the Irish entities.

About the Role
* Prepare and manage the weekly cash forecast
* Timely and accurate month end close as well as providing meaningful variance analysis of results and commentary against budget / forecast – WD4
* Conduct various analysis on both own initiative and on request from senior management, reporting back the finding and recommendations.
* Liaising with operations and other finance departments to ensure information is received on a timely basis
* Preparing the gross margin analysis reports for two sites.
* Preparing the monthly revenue analysis reports for four sites.
* Managing Treasury postings and ensuring that everything reconciles daily
* Managing the Treasury Loans report for Europe
* Ensuring all intercompany balances reconcile for month end close
* Ensuing the weekly Billing is loaded correctly to SAP from CIS and stratum
* Producing monthly reconciliations for the main trading entity and Treasury
* Producing quarterly reconciliations for our non-trading entities
* Supporting the yearly Group and Statutory Audit
* Preparation and posting of journal entries
What you will bring
Education
* Part Qualified accountant ACA; ACCA; CIMA; or CPA
Experience
* Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an operationally focused accounts assistant or Credit control role
* Excellent communication skills and a track record in building relationships as you will be liaising with both internal and external personnel at all levels
Definite asset:
* Experience of SAP & Oracle are desirable (not essential)
* Strong Excel skill desirable

* Ability to multi-task and prioritize work effectively, in order to meet reporting deadlines
* Ability to communicate with a variety of people, with different regional backgrounds and roles
* Flexibility and the willingness to learn and develop on the job

* Proficient in using Microsoft Office tools – Excel proficiency is desirable
