About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of a large-scale, high-value, fast-paced timber frame construction project in a client-facing role, from pre-construction through to final handover. This is a strategic, senior-level role offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a major project, combining strong leadership with practical delivery expertise. You will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the project lifecycle, including design development, procurement, construction execution, and commissioning - while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and cost-efficiency. This position offers a stable, long-term project location and the support of a highly experienced senior management team. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee the full project lifecycle from planning to handover, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. Lead the project team and take full ownership of site operations, resource planning, and execution. Develop and maintain detailed project programme using industry-standard software. Track progress and report weekly. Identify and mitigate risks early, ensuring minimal impact on the construction schedule. Coordinate design resolution in collaboration with the Design Manager and other key stakeholders. Develop and manage the procurement schedule aligned with the construction timeline. Support the QS and Contracts Manager in defining detailed scopes of work for trade packages. Ensure strict adherence to the companys quality assurance processes, including BIM implementation on site. Act as the primary point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and statutory authorities. Lead weekly site and QA meetings, ensuring follow-through on actions and issues. Support the tendering process and pre-construction planning as required. Mentor and develop your project team through effective leadership, coaching, and delegation. Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations, building codes, and internal company policies. Ensure accurate and timely documentation on Procore, including site diaries, progress photos, and action plans. Monitor and manage site logistics and operational efficiency throughout the project. Oversee BC(A)R coordination from project initiation through to completion. Competence and Educational Requirement: Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline. Minimum 3+ years experience in a senior construction project management role. Proven track record of managing complex projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations, health & safety legislation, and BC(A)R processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction-specific platforms (e.g., Procore). Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills. Ability to build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers. Full, clean drivers license required.
