About the RoleWe are seeking three experienced Automation Technicians to join a leading manufacturer within the medical and injection moulding sector. These roles will play a critical part in supporting production efficiency, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring smooth operation of automated systems across multiple shifts.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot automation and control systems within a high-volume manufacturing environment.Provide technical support for injection moulding machinery and medical device production lines.Carry out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime and optimise efficiency.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement process improvements.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Work within a structured shift system to support 24/7 operations.Candidate ProfileProven experience as an Automation Technician, ideally in medical device or injection moulding environments.Strong background in electrical, control systems, and automation technologies.Ability to diagnose faults, read electrical schematics, and perform hands-on technical repairs.Knowledge of PLCs and robotics is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work shifts as required.RequirementsExperience in a similar role.Electrical or Mechatronics qualification (degree, diploma, or equivalent).Strong technical communication skills, both verbal and written.Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland (visa sponsorship and relocation support available).Relocation & BenefitsCompetitive salary of €50,000 per annum.Relocation package provided, including accommodation support for the transition period.Opportunities for career growth and professional development in a highly regulated manufacturing environment.Exposure to cutting-edge automation and medical production technologies.If this is of interest please apply on LinkedIn or email george.taylor@everec.co.uk
