HR Manager
Position Summary:
The HR Manager executes the talent strategy, providing a consistent experience to managers and employees, and supporting and executing the engagement strategy for the market. This position requires a solid understanding of all HR functions and works with managers and/or HR partners in areas such as employee relations, compensation, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement solutions aligned with global HR best practices and coach managers on HR and business-related issues.
* Build strong partnerships with managers to ensure effective HR resource provision to each group.
* Maintain constant involvement in employee relations activities.
* Provide guidance on HR matters, partnering with subject-matter experts to develop needed solutions.
* Partner with managers and HR to implement business solutions, utilizing HR expertise and perspective; support managers on HR projects.
* Execute programs, policies, and procedures to drive an engaged and performing organizational culture.
* Analyze root causes of work environment issues; manage interventions and solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
* 8+ years of work experience, including previous HR experience and demonstrated interaction with COE's and business leaders.
Desirable:
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations/performance management matters.
* Union experience preferred.
* Strong facilitation, consulting, relationship-building, influence, negotiation skills, and project management skills.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence different groups.
* Demonstrated execution ability.
* Capability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization.
* Strong situational assessment and objective evaluation skills.
* Exercise independent judgment with strong attention to detail.
* Analyze, understand, and communicate complicated issues to Managers and Employees to ensure understanding.
