Summary
Our client, a pharmaceutical manufacturing company located in West Dublin, is seeking an OT & Cyber Security Engineer – GMP Manufacturing Systems to support Operational Technology environments within the production space. The successful candidate will provide subject matter expertise, support site-specific delivery activities, maintain OT environments, manage incident and change processes, and contribute to continuous improvement across OT cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting manufacturing OT networks, industrial control systems and security within regulated environments.
Responsibilities
* Operate OT services to publish manufacturing applications for site users in line with global standards and procedures
* Represent the OT and Cyber Security function across the site and regional stakeholders
* Collaborate with other digital, infrastructure and manufacturing support teams to define, evolve and deliver standards and service improvements
* Ensure interfacing service providers deliver in line with service operations processes
* Build and upgrade OT and cybersecurity environments
* Maintain OT asset inventory
* Provide consulting and delivery support for site and global projects and initiatives
* Execute incident resolution, change and problem management processes relating to OT and cybersecurity
* Operate within a global, 24×7, follow-the-sun delivery model once platforms are standardised
* Provide lessons learned feedback and improvement suggestions to relevant technical groups
* Demonstrate structured troubleshooting, accountability and clear technical communication
* Prioritise and execute tasks in high-pressure environments when required
* Mentor and support other technical personnel as needed
* Engage and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders across technical and leadership levels
* Actively participate in cross-regional teams and adapt to day-to-day business requirements
* Maintain continuous training to stay current with OT and cybersecurity technology developments
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business with manufacturing focus or equivalent experience
* Minimum 3 years’ experience providing OT services in manufacturing or laboratory environments
* Knowledge of industrial control systems and OT production networks
* Experience with IT Service Management and Service Delivery
* Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS or Azure) is beneficial
* Experience running IT or OT related projects in regional or global contexts
* Ability to prioritise and manage multiple stakeholder needs
* Knowledge in networking, cybersecurity and endpoint management within OT environments
* Relevant certifications desirable (ITIL, networking, ITSM, project management)
* Strong analytical capability for critical issue management and structured troubleshooting
* Ability to travel on-site as needed for operational support
