Dunnes Stores is Ireland’s leading retailer, operating over 130 stores across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Spain. We are modernising our technology estate to support continued growth across food, fashion and home.
We are appointing a senior technology leader to take ownership of how infrastructure, service delivery and vendor management operate across the Group.
The Mandate
This is not a purely operational role.
It is accountable for strengthening how we run technology services at scale across:
Head OfficeOn-prem and cloud environments
You will lead the service operating model, vendor ecosystem and infrastructure standards that underpin the Group’s technology estate.
What You Will Own
A multi-disciplinary infrastructure and operations functionVendor and managed service governance across data centre, cloud and enterprise platformsService reliability, resilience and business continuityIT operating model maturity and ITIL standardsMajor infrastructure transformation initiativesBudget and commercial accountability
You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Digital, Security, Architecture, Procurement and Store Operations.

What We Are Looking For
15+ years in enterprise IT operations and infrastructure leadershipExperience leading managers and multi-layered teamsStrong vendor and contract management capabilityDeep understanding of enterprise infrastructure including networks, data centres, cloud, identity, observability and resilienceExperience in multi-site or distributed environments, retail experience beneficial
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP or CISSP are advantageous.
This is a senior leadership appointment with significant visibility and responsibility.
