Hospital Porter Role
The role requires an individual to join a dynamic and experienced kitchen team in the healthcare sector.
* A minimum of five years' experience working in a hospital or nursing kitchen environment is essential, or a background in high-volume commercial catering.
* Proficiency in English language skills, both written and verbal, is necessary for effective communication.
* The ability to adapt quickly to new environments and follow instructions from management is crucial.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the day by performing general day-to-day cleaning tasks, including heavy-duty pot wash and main wash up area.
* Providing support to chefs with daily tasks, such as goods in and goods out stock control and rotation.
* Carrying out deep cleaning procedures weekly to ensure the kitchen meets the highest standards of cleanliness.
