Trainee Aftersales Advisor Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Aftersales Advisor to work in our modern showroom. This is a fantastic career opportunity to train as an Aftersales Advisor with Ireland's largest motor retail group.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will complete a minimum of six months structured and comprehensive training. They will be the focal point of contact for Volkswagen customers requiring servicing or repair to their vehicles, managing the flow of information between the workshop, dealership, and customer, delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
* Qualify service needs and diagnose vehicle running problems where appropriate.
* Establish understanding and agreement with the customer of the work to be carried out.
* Manage the handover and administration of Customer Service Vehicles.
* Explain the work carried out on vehicle ensuring customers full understanding and authorisation.
* Maintain safe working practices and abide by the working rules and standards of the dealership.
Requirements:
A full and clean Irish or EU driving licence is an absolutely essential requirement for this role. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate strong customer service, telesales, retail sales or customer contact experience. You do not need to have motor experience, but a desire to work in and an understanding of the motor trade is beneficial.
Training and Development:
We have a comprehensive training program in place which is tailored to suit individual's needs and can take six months to complete. During this program, you will receive comprehensive training in our process, database management, marketing, customer service, and everything you will require to have a successful career in aftersales.
