Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Legal, you will join a high-performing team known for its collaborative spirit and influence. You will act as a primary legal partner for the Pensions Technical and Customer Experience teams, ensuring that new business initiatives and products are built on solid legal foundations.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Advisory: Deliver timely, commercial legal advice that empowers the business to navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate legal and reputational risks across the Life & Pensions portfolio.
Commercial Negotiation: Lead the drafting and negotiation of critical commercial contracts, including investment management, custody, and agency agreements.
Innovation Support: Provide legal oversight for new product launches and digital service enhancements.
Profile
You are likely a seasoned Solicitor with substantial PQE, currently working in-house within Financial Services or in a top-tier Regulatory/Pensions practice. Pensions Expertise: You possess a deep understanding of Irish (or comparable) pensions law and trust structures.
Commercial Acumen: You have a proven track record in managing complex outsourcing arrangements and high-value commercial contracts.
Collaborative Mindset: You enjoy working independently but thrive in a team environment where knowledge-sharing is the norm.
