The Reservations Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the department, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient handling of all reservation-related requests. The coordinator also monitors the quality of guest interactions managed by Guest Experience Hosts, ensuring alignment with the hotel’s standards of luxury and hospitality.
Responsibilities
* Managing guest room bookings
* Communicating with guests and travel agencies to provide information about the hotel and local area
* Processing payments
* Coordinating group block reservations
* Monitoring the quality of guest interactions managed by Guest Experience Hosts to ensure alignment with luxury standards
Qualifications
* Ability to deliver professional, personalized, and engaging luxury service.
* Fluent and confident communication skills in both Spanish and English.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and task follow-through.
* Familiarity with rate management, promotions, and OTA extranets (e.g., Expedia, Booking.com).
* Proficiency in Hyatt systems such as Reserve, Opera, HotSOS, and Zingle.
