Position Summary
This role is responsible for the full life cycle implementation (technical and functional) and support of the Finance & Controlling modules in SAP S4 Hana environment.
Principal Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver requirements and project scope documents, business process design and configuration.
* Liaise with business owners to ensure effective communication and translation of business needs into technical requirements.
* Apply technical knowledge to all phases of systems analysis and consider the business implications of the application to the current and future business environment.
* Conduct functional and/or technical reviews and walks-through of IT design documentation with the development and the design team members. Act as expert support on business processes in respective area of responsibility.
* Ensure the release of system changes according to the Teleflex validation procedures.
* Deliver consistently high-quality service and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure goals are accomplished in line with business objectives.
* Hands-on configuration of core SAP Finance Modules – Asset accounting, Tax accounting, General Ledger (Classic / New), Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Bank reconciliations.
* Hand on knowledge of working with SAP Add-on solutions
* Manage global template for applications to ensure that system remains stable and supportable.
* Work closely with other IT personnel and vendors to ensure that delivered solutions meet business requirements.
Education / Experience Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT or related field.
* 6+ years’ experience configuring in Finance & Controlling in S4 with at least 2 full life cycle implementations.
* Experience in SAP Asset Accounting and Tax accounting
* European or USGAAP tax and legal reporting requirements experience
* SAP certification is a plus.
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
* In depth knowledge of FICO modules – Asset accounting, Tax Accounting, Universal Ledger, Bank Reconciliations.
* Strong Logistics & SD integration knowledge.
* Design, Prototype, configure SAP to meet customer requirements.
* Experience in supporting non-SAP finance application integrations to SAP
* Cross-functional SAP knowledge in MM / SD is an advantage.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and contribute to several projects and customers simultaneously.
* Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
* Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity
* Good judgment and problem-solving ability & is capable of understanding the impact of decision making on both Teleflex Medical and their customers.
