A Sales Executive – Meetings & Events will join The K Club Resort Sales Team. The K Club is a 5‑star destination located in the Irish countryside close to Dublin. The role involves driving group, catering and golf business, managing guest room and meeting space inventories, and ensuring accurate event turnover processes.
Responsibilities
Respond to enquiries/requests for group, catering & golf business within company policy.
Define meeting specifics and manage guest room and meeting space inventories.
Process all correspondence within agreed time‑lines and conduct follow‑up.
Maintain accurate account files and execute agreed sales strategy to achieve revenue goals.
Ensure event turnover process is correct, all files are accurate and forecasted.
Use Opera for all bookings, including standard activities, traces and follow‑up.
Develop contracts and correspondence, manage opportunity details and proactively develop customer solutions.
Detail events in line with customer requirements and ensure alignment and approval.
Manage and develop relationships with multiple contacts in assigned market accounts.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date account data and reporting using account management systems.
Adhere to Group/Wedding/Golf policies regarding space holding, releasing, depositing and cancellations.
Ensure all menus, rooming lists and event/golf information are entered into the system minimum 14 days prior to an event.
Conduct resort site inspections with clients and create/update profiles in Opera.
Coordinate with DOSM and HOS to build new corporate accounts and create Key Account Managers.
Communicate weekly site inspections and Enquiries/Business Won & Lost reports to relevant departments.
Provide sales and management team with accurate feedback.
Ensure terms and conditions for groups and companies are updated.
Cover for members of the sales team when required and keep Opera current with menus and forecasting.
Liaise with sommeliers on wine list updates and compile a catering calendar of events.
Produce weekly production reports to account for lost and regretted business.
Qualifications
Experience working in a sales role within the hospitality sector.
Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Confident team player who strives to make a mark with team members and customers.
Desirable interest in golf.
