About the Role:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling rackmount and desktop router systems accurately and efficiently. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities:
1. BUILD ALL UNITS
2. Maintain levels of acceptable build performance and output.
3. Read and interpret assembly guides.
4. Pick appropriate components.
5. Complete final assembly.
6. Perform operating system load and test.
7. Affix product identification and compliance labeling.
8. Understand coordination of expedites, partners, and back orders.
9. Assist with development and maintenance of Operations documents, build procedures and QC Best Practices manuals for operations staff.
10. Cross-train with all build ops staff to ensure maximum flexibility in resources and assignments.
11. Assist management with dashboards, metrics and analytics as needed.
12. Assist with inventory procedures as directed.
13. Assist with facility projects as directed.
14. Identify problems in operations processes and work with Site Supervisor to efficiently resolve issues while proactively preventing future occurrences.
