Account Executive - Wholesale Commercial Book ( Insurance )
Location: Naas / Kill Office
A brilliant opportunity to join a high performing commercial team and take ownership of a significant wholesale commercial portfolio. This is a client facing role where you will manage renewals, drive retention, spot cross sell opportunities and maintain strong broker relationships across commercial and financial lines.
You will play a key role in managing policy lifecycles end to end while delivering a seamless experience across a wide range of business sectors. This is a role for someone who enjoys taking accountability for their book, is commercially minded and thrives in an environment where service levels and quality matter.
What you will be responsible for
Take full ownership of monthly renewals and retention performance
Manage all aspects of policy administration including renewals, MTAs, adjustments and queries
Process policy documentation accurately within required timeframes and in line with procedures
Deliver a professional and responsive service that strengthens broker loyalty
Maintain strong compliance standards and always act in the best interest of the client
Stay informed on market pricing, product changes and commercial trends
Provide feedback to leadership to support continuous improvement and better market offerings
Ensure premiums are collected on time and resolve any related issues quickly
Collaborate with colleagues across the wider business on training, product development and operational improvement initiatives
Contribute to projects that enhance broker experience, systems and processes
About you
Minimum 4 years experience in commercial insurance
Minimum CIP or Grandfathered Commercial with CPD fully up to date
Strong product and market knowledge across commercial lines
Experienced in managing broker relationships with a focus on renewals and client service
Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure optimal outcomes for both client and business
Knowledge or interest in the Lloyd's market would be an advantage
Relationship driven and comfortable managing a busy portfolio with a high level of ownership
