The Role
We're looking for a reliable, approachable Leisure Centre Attendant to join our team. You'll be one of the first faces people see, helping everything run smoothly while making sure customers have a great experience.
No two days are the same — you might be supporting gym users, setting up activities, keeping areas clean and safe, or helping someone find the right class
About The Role
Key Responsibilities
* Supervising gym, poolside, and activity areas to ensure safety
* Welcoming customers and providing friendly, helpful support
* Setting up and taking down equipment for classes and events
* Carrying out routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks
* Enforcing centre rules and health & safety procedures
* Handling customer queries and reporting issues to supervisors
* Supporting lifeguards and instructors when needed
What We're Looking For
* Friendly, confident, and professional attitude
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to stay calm and act responsibly in busy situations
* Good awareness of health & safety
* Team player with a proactive approach
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends
Desirable (but Not Essential)
* First Aid qualification
* Lifeguard certification
* Experience in a leisure, fitness, or customer-facing role
(Training can be provided for the right candidate.)

Required Criteria
* Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
* Ability to work on weekends and evenings
* Excellent customer service skills
Desired Criteria
* Strong knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedure
