We are Kids Inc. We provide Early Years and Afterschool Care services. With an experience of more than 25 years in the childcare industry, we are one of the most established organizations operating geographically all over Ireland. Our goal is to extend children's daily learning by involving them in a wide range of sports and creative programs, with a strict 'No Screen Time' policy. With 5 Creches and Preschool services in Dublin, Kids Inc is also hosting over 70 'Onsite" Breakfast and Afterschool Care programs throughout the country.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative
Inclusion Coordinator
to promote our inclusion and additional needs
primary school after-school program

The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping an enriching experience that supports learners from all backgrounds and abilities
The role
:
* Assist in the design of a dynamic, theme-based curriculum incorporating literacy, STEM, creative arts, and physical wellness for all children.
* Liaise with the Planning and Curriculum Coordinator to ensure all activities are accessible, inclusive, and tailored to the developmental needs of primary-aged children.
* Manage additional needs resources and materials effectively.
* Assess the level of support required at the applications stage. Liaise with relevant departments during the application process.
* Work in partnership with parents to create and maintain individual support plans children with additional needs.
Staff Training and Support:
* Provide guidance and ongoing support to after-school educators, centre managers, SNA's and volunteers.
* Identify areas for improvement, create and lead training sessions on additional needs, behaviour support strategies, and best practices for student engagement.
* Centre Visits to observe and implement strategy with children, staff and management.
Additional Needs/SNA Evaluation and Improvement:
* Monitor and assess strategy effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
* Collect and analyse feedback from students, staff, and parents to continuously refine strategy.
* Maintain clear documentation of IEP's and related paperwork.
Communication and Collaboration:
* Act as a point of contact for families regarding additional needs, inclusion, and positive behaviour management.
* Collaborate with school leadership and staff to align after-school goals with the broader educational vision.
* Participate in regular team meetings and contribute proactively to program enhancement.
* Consult with external professionals regarding strategies and individual needs of a child.

Your Profile:
* Minimum Level 6 in childcare, SNA, or relevant child psychology qualification.
* Management experience in an educational/SNA/childcare setting.
* This role requires site visits and your own car
* Strong knowledge of child development, especially in the 5-12 age range (preferred).
* Excellent planning, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
* Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
* Creative approach to inclusive curriculum design.
* A genuine passion for working with children and enhancing learning outside the classroom.
* Familiarity with national curriculum standards and enrichment program design.
