About the Role
This role involves providing technical assistance and support to employees across various sites. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of hardware and software systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals, operating systems, and applications.
* Provide on-site technical support at designated locations, utilizing a company vehicle when necessary.
* Liaise with coordinators to receive upgrade schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
* Manage issues from start to resolution, providing exceptional customer service throughout the process.
* Prioritize and manage Service Desk calls in a timely manner, including travel to sites as required.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and end-users.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a minimum of one year's experience in an IT Support environment. They should also have a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and report writing, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
