Senior Construction Manager (Contract)
A leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing organization is hiring a Senior Construction Manager (Contract) to lead construction delivery across capital and expense projects within a regulated GMP environment.
This role involves managing multiple concurrent projects across manufacturing, laboratories, and utilities, ensuring safe execution, schedule adherence, quality, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on-site construction activities across multiple projects.
* Manage contractors, site logistics, and construction sequencing.
* Ensure compliance with Irish construction regulations, EHS standards, and Good Engineering Practices (GEP).
* Coordinate permit-to-work systems and site readiness with Operations, EHS, QA, and Engineering teams.
* Support commissioning, qualification, and handover of completed systems.
Required Experience & Skills
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
* 8+ years' experience in construction management within pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing.
* Strong knowledge of Irish construction regulations and construction safety legislation.
* Proven experience delivering projects in live operational environments.
* Excellent contractor management and stakeholder communication skills.
