Job Title
A Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of production staff to produce manufactured products and organize workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet quality and productivity standards.
* Liaise with planning, engineering, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor and report on schedule status, priorities, and problems to management and support functions.
* Address employee-related issues and queries through company policies and procedures.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and engagement.
* Plan and coordinate training and development programs for operators and line leads, providing coaching and counseling as needed.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.
Requirements:
* Level 7 qualification in a relevant discipline such as manufacturing or engineering.
* At least 4 years' experience in a supervisory role within a lean electronics manufacturing environment operating to ISO 13485 standards.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
