As a key link between the onshore finance function and an experienced offshore team, you will play a crucial role in group-level consolidation, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
About the Role
The Group Accountant will be responsible for supporting the monthly group consolidation and close process under IFRS. This includes acting as a bridge between onshore finance and the offshore team in India, assisting with technical accounting areas, including IFRS 2 (Share-Based Payments), IFRS 16 (Leases), and complex debt instruments, and ensuring compliance with SOX controls and Group accounting policies.
Requirements
We are seeking a qualified ACA or equivalent accountant, ideally Big 4 or Top 6 trained, with at least 12 years PQE, preferably with PLC or group audit experience. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of IFRS and understanding of SOX requirements, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, a proactive, solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to work independently. Experience with ERP or consolidation systems and previous in-house experience in a listed group finance environment would be highly desirable.
