Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Yardhand based in Tallaght. The Yardhand will be responsible for organizing and maintaining the yard, assisting customers with loading and unloading materials, ensuring inventory is accurately accounted for, and maintaining a clean and safe workspace. The role also includes using equipment such as forklifts and handling deliveries from suppliers.
Qualifications
* Experience in handling building materials and knowledge of construction products
* Ability to safely operate forklifts and other yard equipment
* Strong organizational skills for managing inventory and yard space
* Excellent customer service and communication skills
* Capability to perform physical tasks and work outdoors in various weather conditions
* Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols
* Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial
* A valid forklift operating license is a plus
