Job Summary:
The role of an Audit Senior entails delivering high-quality audit and advisory services to public sector clients while gaining valuable leadership experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver statutory internal and external audit services to public sector entities.
* Prepare and review planning documents and reports for client deliverables.
* Present engagement results to senior management, audit committees, and boards.
* Lead and support teams on a range of assignments, providing coaching and mentoring.
* Build and manage strong relationships with clients while ensuring deadlines are met.
Requirements:
* Hold a qualification in accountancy (e.g. ACA, ACCA).
* Minimum 3 years' Irish Practice experience, preferably in external or internal audit.
* Knowledge of the Code of Practice for the Governance of State Bodies is advantageous.
* Strong business acumen and ability to act as a trusted advisor.
* Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
* Excellent report writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.
