About the Role
As a catering assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent food and beverage services to patients in hospitals and nursing homes throughout Westmeath.
Key Responsibilities
* Setting up the catering units / wards for daily service.
* Working from the pantry serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and teas.
* Day to day cleaning of the catering units and kitchens
You will also be responsible for taking patient orders, uploading them into the system, serving food at ward level, probing food and recording temperatures. Additionally, you will clean the pantry and set it up for the next day. You must follow all dietary requirements while working as part of a team under management's instructions with responsibilities such as food preparation presentation within hospital canteens following HACCP procedures efficiently managing time during pressure points ensuring adherence to health safety regulations always provided uniforms id badge haccp manual handling training offered garda vetting valid experience work different healthcare units excellent pay rates accordance hse salary scale daytime hours premium weekend ,
