This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your financial expertise to an organisation making a profound difference in people's lives while working a flexible 4-day week.
You'll be a key player in the organisation's financial operations, delivering accurate monthly management accounts, managing restricted and project funds, and leading month-end close activities. You'll oversee cashflow, prepare payroll journals, support grant applications, and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual financial statements (SORP). You'll also help strengthen financial controls, support audits, mentor junior staff, and partner with non-finance teams to ensure strong compliance and value for money across the organisation.
Please apply for this role if you are a are fully qualified accountant with 5+ years' post-qualification experience and a strong background in management accounting. Charity sector experience is essential, along with solid knowledge of Charities SORP and proven experience in government grant reporting.
