Murphy is recruiting anWater Document Controllerto support our expanding Water & Wastewater portfolio, delivering full design‑to‑operation solutions for Uisce Éireann, Northern Ireland Water and other key clients, underpinned by our commitment to delivering safely, responsibly and to the highest standards.What You Will Be DoingMaintain our process for efficient information management, tracking all incoming and outgoing project documentation within the cloud‑based document management system.Ensure all documents meet the company's quality standards and project requirements.Distribute information to relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate notification.Manage document revisions and ensure the most current versions are available to the team.Archive project documents per the company's document retention policies.Ensure all documentation complies with legal, contractual, and company standards.Help set up, maintain, and manage the document management platform (CDE) for digital project delivery.Ensure digital information accuracy, completeness, and consistency.Facilitate collaboration among project teams by managing information workflows and ensuring access to necessary data.Provide training and support to project teams on document control procedures and best‑practice digital processes.Generate reports on document control and BIM information management activities for senior management and stakeholders.Develop and implement review and approval workflows, coordinate the information review process, assign CDE permissions, and ensure compliance with data management policies.Who we are looking for?Bachelor's degree in information management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is desirableA minimum of three years of experience in document control, with at least one year of experience in BIM project environmentsProficiency in document control software (e.g., BIM 360/ACC, ProjectWise, Aconex, Procore, Viewpoint) and BIM tools (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks)Strong organisational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamUnderstanding the relevant Digital/BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired but not essentialWhat You Will Get In Return27 days holiday, plus bank holidays with the option to buy an additional 2 days holiday each year, holidays increase with length of serviceDiscretionary annual bonus and annual salary reviewAbove market rate contributory pension schemeLife assurance, health screening and enhanced sick payGenerous Private Healthcare AllowanceEnhanced maternity and paternity pay and a maternity returners bonusExtra 2 days holiday for all employees getting married and a wedding bonusDedicated and continued investment in your professional developmentOther Murphy benefits include retail discounts, discounted gym memberships, cycle to work scheme etcAbout MurphyMurphy is formally recognised as a sector leading employer, Platinum Investors In People accredited.
