We currently have an exciting opportunity for a confident and capable Wedding Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those with a passion for Weddings and Events, with a background in hospitality and customer service, to build their skills in a fast paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities: Management of the full sales process from enquiry through to booking and delivery of the event. Managing the communication process - Dealing with clients in person and via telephone & email. All requests should be responded in a professional & timely manner, endeavouring to convert every enquiry into a sale whilst providing the highest level of service. Prepare detailed operations sheets for each wedding or event, detailing clients requests and communicate this effectively to all relevant departments Carryout and complete all instructions for wedding or event set-up on day of event Ensure all quotes and contracts are accurate & presented to each client to Ballymagarvey Village standard Conduct private show rounds of the estate and represent the venue at scheduled open days and evenings Provide support to additional departments as necessary including, but not limited, to Reception & Reservations The ideal candidate should have: A minimum of 2 years' experience in events/wedding role.(preferred) A competent professional sales person and an excellent communicator. Have exceptional attention to detail. A positive, professional and friendly approach. Must be focused on providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work on own initiative, multitask and work under pressure Must be flexible and accept a demanding work schedule in a busy environment Competent in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel Ability to learn and utilize various computer software programs Training will be provided but previous experience is preferred and beneficial.
