Job Title: Maintenance Planning and Scheduling Engineer
The role of the Maintenance Planner will involve planning and execution of maintenance work. They will effectively plan and schedule maintenance work to enable effective and timely execution. The planner will have strong technical knowledge of equipment design and maintenance with the ability to map out repair plans in a standard work format.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the development, implementation, and day-to-day operation of the site Maintenance system.
2. Coordinate the Work Scheduling process to ensure site-specific targets on maintenance backlog management are achieved.
3. Plan PM & CM work orders by visiting job sites, booking/ordering materials, writing task lists, performing risk assessments etc. working closely with contract providers to plan work requests.
Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum five years' experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing GMP environment.
- Knowledge and experience of CMMS systems are essential. SAP and ProCal are advantageous.
- Experience of managing vendors and contractors.
- Good understanding of World Class Maintenance practices and expectations.
- Knowledge of maintenance systems and work practices for both electrical and mechanical crafts.
- Leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with a proven track record for effectively collaborating and working well within a team.
