About The Job
The role of Driver & Furniture and Bedding Assembler in Harvey Norman involves delivering & assembling products in our customers home. Interacting with our customers and providing amazing customer service experiences which help make Harvey Norman a great place to shop. This is a white glove in home delivery/assembly operation and training will be provided.
YOUR JOB Your Tasks Will Include
* Delivery and assembly of furniture & bedding products in customers homes.
* Ensuring all products are loaded and wrapped safely to protect any damages.
* POD Management.
* Be an ambassador for the Harvey Norman brand and Assembly/Delivery service.
* Adherence to the companies policies and procedures at all times.
* Perform other related duties as required.
* Ensuring your vehicle is kept maintained and any faults or defects are reported immediately upon inspection.
YOUR PROFILE Your Knowledge, Skills And Experience Include- Experience and Qualifications
* Must hold a clean drivers license category B.
* Experience with assembling Furniture & Bedding.
* Experience with hardware tools such as screwdrivers, staple guns, drills etc.
* Good communication & ability to work as a team.
* Well-organized and adept at problem-solving.
* Flexible and willing to go the extra mile to ensure customers expectations are exceeded.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Excellent telephone skills.
* Positive attitude.
* Customer Orientated Be respectful to customers as the highest priority of the business.
* Hardworking, Conscientious, & Self Motivated Possessing a high degree of self confidence and maturity. Motivated by internal goals and have tenacity in chasing goals.

Additional Information
* This is a permanent contract subject to a 6 month probationary period.
* We need employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings and weekends.
* The successful candidate will be required to attend a company induction day.
