Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic, customer-focused
Leisure Centre Manager
to lead and grow our Halcyon membership experience. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional service, driving membership engagement, supporting wellness programming, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Operations
* Manage daily operations of the Halcyon leisure facilities (gym, pool, thermal area & wellness studio).
* Recruit, train and supervise a high-performing leisure team.
* Oversee cleanliness, safety and presentation standards throughout the centre.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Membership Growth & Engagement
* Act as the ambassador for Halcyon membership - welcoming, enrolling and onboarding new members.
* Maintain strong relationships with existing members and promote member-only benefits.
* Drive initiatives to increase membership retention and satisfaction.
Customer Experience
* Deliver a premium guest experience aligned with our brand values.
* Handle member enquiries and feedback with professionalism.
* Work collaboratively with Spa, F&B and hotel teams to ensure seamless cross-departmental service.
Fitness & Wellness Programming
* Schedule and oversee wellness classes, personal training opportunities and member events.
* Collaborate with trainers and wellness professionals to enhance member value.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in leisure centre or health club management
Leadership skills with a passion for wellbeing and customer service
Strong organisational ability and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
