The Plumbers at Killarney Hotels Collection are responsible for daily plumbing maintenance operations at The Europe Hotel & Resort, The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens and Ard na Sidhe Country House. About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and flexible Plumber to join our team, specializing in industrial plumbing systems within the hospitality sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all plumbing systems across guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, staff quarters, and back-of-house areas, ensuring the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and comfort. This role requires a high level of professionalism, and attention to detail consistent with a luxury hospitality environment. This role requires on-call availability for evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Key Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all plumbing infrastructure. Respond promptly to emergency plumbing issues and resolve with minimal disruption to hotel operations. Collaborate with engineering, housekeeping, and front office teams to address guest-related maintenance requests. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Monitor water usage and report any irregularities or leaks to management. Support major refurbishments or renovation projects as required. Provide professional and courteous service to guests and colleagues at all times. Key Requirements: Qualified Plumber with relevant certifications and experience. Proven experience in industrial plumbing work, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or within a team. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and on-call rotations A proactive and can-do attitude, with the ability to think quickly in high-pressure situations. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to health and safety regulations. Flexibility to work on a rotating on-call schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
