A well-established leading Main Contractor in Dublin is looking for an experienced a
Quantity Surveyor
to join their team in
Dublin
.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Support the Senior QS in the commercial management of projects.
* Ensure the subcontractor procurement process is handled efficiently and on schedule.
* Prepare detailed trade and contract budgets.
* Analyse package costs and negotiate effectively with subcontractors.
* Coordinate subcontractor appointments and maintain accurate accounts.
* Oversee subcontractor payment processes.
* Prepare cash flow forecasts and interim valuations.
* Manage change orders and variations throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Degree qualified in Construction Economics or Quantity Surveying.
* Developing understanding of the full project lifecycle, including cost planning, procurement, contract administration, and risk management, gained under the guidance of a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
* Highly organised and self-motivated.
