Health & Safety Adviser€45,000Role OverviewOur client is seeking a proactive and hands-onHealth & Safety Adviserwith a minimum of2 years' experience working in Ireland, supporting bothcommercial and residential construction projects.This is a varied role combiningHealth & Safety advisory responsibilitieswith oversight offacilities and building maintenance, ensuring all office and site environments are safe, compliant, and well maintained. The successful candidate will also act as the organisation'sFirst Aider and Fire Warden, playing a key role in maintaining a safe workplace culture.Key ResponsibilitiesHealth & SafetyEnsure full compliance with Irish Health & Safety legislation, construction regulations, building standards, and internal company policies.Carry out site inspections, hazard identification, and risk assessments across commercial and residential projects.Deliver toolbox talks, site inductions, and safety training to employees and contractors.Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe acts, producing reports and recommending corrective and preventative actions.Maintain accurate and up-to-date H&S documentation, including Safety Statements, Method Statements, and Risk Registers.Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure safe working conditions and standards are consistently met.Facilities & Workplace ManagementOversee the maintenance of internal and external office spaces, ensuring they are safe, functional, and presented to a high standard.Monitor and manage cleaning standards across all premises, coordinating with contractors or internal teams as required.Support general building maintenance and facilities-related compliance.Emergency & Compliance SupportAct as the company First Aider and Fire Warden, ensuring emergency preparedness and response procedures are in place and understood.Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to embed best practices in safety and facilities management across the business.Qualifications & SkillsExperienceMinimum 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety advisory role in Ireland.Exposure to both commercial and residential construction projects is essential.Education & CertificationsDiploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.IOSH certification desirable but not essential.Knowledge & Technical SkillsStrong working knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation and construction regulations.Proficient in Microsoft Office ; familiarity with H&S or facilities management systems is advantageous.Personal SkillsStrong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.Proactive, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities.Confident working independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.To hear more about this position or to discuss your suitability to please reach out to Nisha for a confidential chat on or email your CV to Your CV will not be sent to any third party without your consent.By applying here you agree to RECRUITERS storing your CV in our secure applicant tracking system (ATS; Bullhorn).
