Meeting & Events Executive – 4* Grand Hotel, Malahide

Under the management of FBD Hotels & Resorts Group, we are currently seeking to recruit a highly motivated, customer-focused individual with a passion for meetings and events to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and communication skills, excellent presentation abilities, a positive can-do attitude, keen attention to detail, and experience in a hotel sales role.


Responsibilities will include:

1. Co-ordinating meetings and events from enquiry to contract, including event management and ensuring all final details are updated for BEO issuing and handover to operations.
2. Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensure seamless execution of their events.
3. Maximising hotel sales and meeting the Meeting & Events budgets.
4. Completing all administrative work, making follow-up calls, and issuing contracts within the specified timeframe.
5. Communicating all client details to relevant departments, providing updates, feedback, and identifying future business opportunities.
6. Securing deposit and final payments according to the company's payment schedule.
7. Tracking all enquiries, following up diligently, and sharing new leads with the Sales Team.
8. Maintaining full knowledge of all internal systems used within the M&E/Sales office.
9. Managing system bookings accurately with up-to-date details.
10. Preparing and updating menus, floor plans, and table plans for functions.
11. Supporting sales and marketing activities such as wedding fairs, site inspections, and FAMs.
12. Performing other reasonable duties as requested by management.
