About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Locum Sonographer to join our team in Cork. You will perform a variety of ultrasound scans, support patients, and help maintain a smooth workflow in our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform obstetric, gynecological, and 3D/4D Pregnancy scans.
* Prepare patients and explain scan procedures.
* Complete electronic transfer of images to patients.
* Assist in training other sonographers when requested.
* Monitor and report low supplies.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of scan rooms and equipment.
* Perform other duties relevant to the role as required.
Requirements
* Registered sonographer with experience in obstetric and gynecological scans.
* Competent in 3D/4D scanning.
* Background in nursing or radiology with NMBI registration.
* Strong communication and patient care skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
* Organized and detail-oriented.
